1. What InvestmentBag is — and is not

InvestmentBag is a portfolio tracker built for education and entertainment. It helps you record your stock and option trades, follow your cash, and understand how your own numbers are worked out, with an optional AI assistant (“Ibby”) that can import trades and explain figures in plain language.

The Service is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Figures, gains, losses, and AI explanations are for informational purposes only, may be delayed or inaccurate, and should not be relied upon for real financial decisions. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You can sign in with your email address or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Your content

You may add data to the Service — including trades, holdings, cash entries, portfolios, and files such as broker exports or screenshots you upload for AI import (“Your Content”). You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant InvestmentBag Holdings Ltd a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending relevant parts to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for having the right to upload it. Do not upload anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

4. AI features and credits

Some features are powered by AI and run on a credit system. Every new account receives free credits, and additional credits can be purchased in packs. Key points:

• Credits are only charged when the AI successfully completes a task — cancelled, failed, or abandoned requests are not charged.
• AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Always review imported trades and explanations before relying on them.
• Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are intended for use within the Service.
• Purchases are processed by Stripe in the currency shown at checkout. Because credits are digital items made available immediately, purchases are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by law.

5. Payments

Paid credit packs are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, in US Dollars unless stated otherwise. You authorise us and Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or in breach of these Terms;
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours;
• Interfere with, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service;
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

7. Third-party data and services

The Service relies on third parties — for example market price data, hosting, payments, email, and AI providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or actions of those third parties, and your use of their outputs (such as market prices) is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Because the Service is for education and entertainment, you should not rely on it for actual investment, tax, or financial decisions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvestmentBag Holdings Ltd and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or trading or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US Dollars (US$50).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
